June 2025

Sun 1st:            Open Mic Night.  New Fountain.  From 7pm.

Mon 2nd:         HS volunteers' get-together at the New Fountain 11am-12noon

Mon 2nd:         Surgery with District Councillor Todd Olive at the Hive, opp TF, 4-7pm.

Thurs 5th:        Quiz Night at the Thirsty Farmer.  8-10pm.

Fri 6th:             Egg catching at the Cricket Club.  Registration from 6pm.  7.30pm start.  All 

                        ages.   BBQ and bar.

Sat 7th:            Men’s Health Matters:  Guest Speaker Mr Crundwell Consultant Urologist on

                        All things Prostate. Other advice / support. Coleridge Med Centre.  11-2pm.

Sun 8th:           Cash Bingo.  New Fountain.  7.30pm

Tue 10th:           WI. 2pm at The Hub. In the mood, or dancing through the War - Dr. F. E. 

                          Burroughes 

Wed 11th:        Whimple Community Choir at Whimple Church 7 – 8.30pm every Wed.   All

Sat 11th:          Abbotsbury Gardens and Swannery trip with Whimple and District Garden 

                        Club

Sat 14th:          Last Front Row Club 2024/5 season. Victory Hall. Film  is Conclave and starts 

                          7.30pm. £5 non-members

Sun 15th:         Quiz Night.  New Fountain.  7.30pm

Mon 16th:        Whimple Parish Council meeting.  Victory Hall.  7pm.  All welcome.

Tue 17th:         Community Theatre 4 All:  pre-casting read-through in Talaton Hall

                        committee room at 7pm.  New members welcome.  

Sat 21st:           Live Music with Nicole Brown at NFI.  

Sat 21st:          Whimple Primary School Summer Fayre.  1 – 4pm.

Sat 21st:            Whimple Garden Safari.  Tickets £5 at shop or on day.  2 till 6pm.

Sun 22nd:          Whimple Garden Safari. For VH Extension

Sat 28th:          Soup and Sarnie in the Victory Hall.  12md to 1.30pm

Sat 5th :           Whimplefest Family Fun Run:  Registration on Parish Field from 9.30.  11.30        Start.

Sat 5th:             Whimplefest 12 – 5.30pm on the Parish Field. Crafts, Kid’s activities, 

                          Wellbeing and Live Music etc   Free entry   12 – 5.30pm

Sun 6th:           Tale Valley Choir Summer Concert.  Whimple Church.  2.30pm. 

Sun 6th:             Open Mic Night.  New Fountain.  From 7pm.

Sun 20th:         Quiz Night.  New Fountain.  7.30pm

Tue 12th:          WI.  Yellands Farm.   Garden Party

Sun 17th:         Quiz Night.  New Fountain.  7.30pm

Sat 23rd:          Live Music at NFI with Rhiannon

Mon 25th:       Whiteways Cup at the Cricket Club.

Sat 30th:          Final league games and end-of-season social at the Cricket Club.

Sat 18th:          Live Music at NFI with Roger Styles

Sun 19th:         Quiz Night.  New Fountain.  7.30pm

Sun 2nd:           Open Mic Night.  New Fountain.  From 7pm.

Sun 2nd:          HS talk RAF Exeter during 1937 – 45 by Chris Wiseman.  VH at 3pm.

Mon 3rd:         HS volunteers' get-together at the New Fountain 11am-12noon

Thurs 6th:        Quiz Night at the Thirsty Farmer.  8-10pm.

Tue 11th:         WI.  An illustrated talk about East Devon Lace - Carol McFadzean.  2pm

Fri 28th:            HS talk I bought a Church:  The Story of the Sidmouth Toy and Model

                         Museum by Ian Gregory at the VH 7.30pm.

 

December 2025
